Shrimp Rice Rolls

Ingredients


Shrimp Rice Rolls

  • 9 shrimp (I used frozen)

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • 1/2 tsp msg

  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch

  • 3 pieces of rice paper

  • water (to wet rice paper)

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tbsp water

Garnish

  • chili crisp

  • green onion/cilantro

Directions


  1. Add your shrimp, salt, sugar, msg, and cornstarch to a container and mix.

  2. Wet your rice paper for 5 seconds, then lay it flat.

  3. Place 3 pieces of shrimp in the center of your rice paper, then wrap your shrimp to form your rice roll. Repeat for the others.

  4. Steam your shrimp rice rolls for 6 minutes.

  5. While steaming, make your sauce by mixing your soy sauce, sugar, and water.

  6. Pour your sauce over your shrimp rice rolls, garnish with green onion/cilantro, and serve.
